What is a Vajacial?
A Vajacial is a facial for your vagina, the vulva area.
Do you suffer from ingrown hairs?
-
If so, a Vajacial treatment will be beneficial for you.
There are some benefits of a Vajacial:
-
Treats ingrown hairs
-
Removes blackheads and dead skin cells
-
Prevents acne
-
Smooths bumps and dryness around the bikini line
-
Helps with hyperpigmentation
-
Hydrating and helps maintain a healthy look for your skin
A Vajacial is a way to help alleviate all of the above problems that are mentioned.
The process in performing the Vajacial are as followed:
-
A tea tree essential oil steam and deep cleanse to loosen any blockages, blackheads, bumps, and ingrown hairs from the upper layer of the skin.
-
Exfoliate skin with organic ingredients.
-
An extraction of the blockages, ingrowns, bumps, and blackheads from the vulva.
-
A high-frequency treatment that zaps any remaining bacteria on the skin and prevents future ingrowns. The tool emits an electrical current that produces oxygen and pushes it deep into the skin's pores to kill bacteria.
-
A soothing and detoxifying mask that further relieves the skin of deep, embedded acne or cysts. The mask also relieves any redness that is a result from sugaring/waxing or extractions.
-
Conclude with no bumps serum treatment.
What are the differences between all the bikini services?
A Basic Bikini sugar goes right up to the panty line or swimsuit line from the inner thigh. No back side.
An Extended Bikini is a basic bikini, including the back side.
A Brazilian pretty much takes all of the hair from the front all the way around the back. Feel free however to leave a little on the top like a landing strip or triangle if you would like.
How long does my hair need to be?
We recommend your hair to be at least 1/16-1/4 of an inch for optimal hair removal.
How often will I need body sugaring treatments?
Your aesthetician will be pleased to discuss this with you, free of charge and without obligation, a program of treatments to meet your specific needs. Typically, appointments are scheduled 4-6 weeks apart, since individual hair growth varies from one person to another.
How important are your first 3 appointments?
If you are planning to use Body Sugaring to soften or reduce hair, it is important that your first 3 Sugaring sessions are booked fairly close together. These are your most important bookings as they will quickly reduce the amount of overall hair and soften coarse, stubborn hair. For best results, begin booking your treatments 6 to 9 months prior to the date that you would like to see optimal results, for example, a vacation; a wedding date; or the summer season. Regular sugaring treatments result in a less painful, more thorough removal of hairs, and allows for slower growth of hair which can, in some cases, lead to permanent reduction.
How to prepare your skin for treatment
-
Please do not use a razor or depilatory creams between appointments as this will interfere with your goal to refine and diminish your hair growth and to have smooth skin. Regularly hydrating and exfoliating your skin between sugaring treatments are just as important as receiving treatment. You will receive the best results if your skin is healthy.
-
Please shower to clean the skin of any excess oils, etc.
-
Do not wear any lotion, deodorant, oil, or any other skin care products on the area you intend to have sugared.
-
Come for your sugaring appointment with clean and dry skin.
-
Do not expose your skin to the sun for 24 hours prior to your appointment as we cannot treat the skin when it is sunburned.
I have been using Retin-A or Accutane… Can I still get sugared?
Unfortunately, no. If you are using Retin-A or any other topical cream for acne on your face, we would not be able to sugar anywhere on your face. However…. it is still okay to get any other areas done. If you are on Accutane or have been on Accutane in the last six months, we cannot sugar you at all. We are happy to quote you a price for Threading your brows. It is not recommended to have any areas sugared or waxed when on Accutane as the drug shuts off all of your oil glands. This can cause SEVERE lifting of the skin that could damage and scar the skin.
